The Parnasala will be dedicated to the world on September 12, 2010. A year-long Global ‘Parnasala Dedication Campaign’ was inaugurated on September 3, 2009, by Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Sri. Sashi Tharoor, to disseminate the Parnasala dedication message. As part of the campaign, several major programmes have been initiated at the international and national levels, including a Science Congress, Cultural Festivals, Exhibitions, Seminars, Road Shows and House Visits. Hundreds of thousands of devotees and well wishers from all over the world are expected to participate in the Dedication Ceremony. More than 200 delegates from different countries are expected to participate in a four-day ‘International Conference on Global Warming, Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Secular Spirituality’, to be conducted at Santhigiri Ashram from September 7-10, 2010. Several celebrities and world leaders are also expected to participate in the epochal ceremony.
