Santhigiri Ashram will be celebrating Poojitha Peedom Samarpanam -10 from 13th January to 22nd February, 2011. It is a unique celebration in the history of spirituality as it signifies the triumph of the disciple in achieving the highest spiritual fulfillment as per the wish of the Founder Guru, Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru. It especially signifies the triumph of womanhood - the unparalleled elevation of a woman disciple, Her Holiness Sishyapoojita Amrita Jnana Tapaswini to the highest spiritual pedestal in spirituality. Poojitha Peedom Samarpanam celebration is to commemorate this unique event.
Poojitha Peedom Samarpanam is celebrated with special ceremonies including Prayers, Sankalpam, Flower Offerings and Satsangam. One of the main features of the celebrations will be the Half-yearly Kumba Mela. Thousands of devotees from the country and abroad will congregate in the Ashram on this occasion. The devotees have already commenced a 41 days' long vritam and special prayers in connection with Poojitha Peedom Samarpanam Celebrations.

Santhigiri and New Medical Center (NMC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to start an Ayurveda hospital at Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hospital will be started in Dubai Healthcare City.
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct, 17: The design for the Santhigiri model watershed scheme, which aims to solve the drinking water shortage in the neighbourhood of the S anthigiri Ashram, Pothencode, is ready, the Ashram said in a statement. The three existing reservoirs at the Ashram will be modified for the scheme.
