Eligibility for Admission
Candidate belonging to the state of Kerala and who have passed the SSLC examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit
Candidates between the age of 17-25 years are eligible to apply.
Duration
The course will be for a period of 12 months (300 working days) including practicals.
1. Padharth Vijnan - Knowlege of Matters and Ayurveda Philosophy
Certificates
Certificates will be awarded to the candidates only after having secured a pass in the examination conducted by the examiners appointed for the purpose.
Fees
A fee of Rs. 3,500/- for merit seat (Government) and Rs. 12,500/- for payment seats (Management). Every selected candidate will have to remit a caution deposit of Rs.500/-. The fees once remitted will not refunded.
How to apply
Application form can be had from the office Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Santhigiri P.O., Thiruvananthapuram, at a cost of Rs.300/-. Applicants desiring to have the forms to send them by post should send Rs.350/- by money order to the Principal quoting the name, the course furnishing full address of the candidate in the M.O. coupon. The defective M.O. coupon will not be accepted. Postal Orders, cheque, Demand Draft will not be accepted towards cost of application form. The cost of the form will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application form is not transferable.
Documents to be submitted along with the application
1. Application forms duly filled in along copies of SSLC to prove age and qualifying examination duly attested by a gazetted officer.
2. Receipt of the application form
3. A recent passport size photograph of the applicant must be affixed in the space provided in the application form.
Selection
Total number of seats will be as follows:
Ayurveda Panchakarma : 30
Ayurveda Nursing : 30
Ayurveda Pharmacy : 25
Physically handicapped candidates are not eligible for selection. Decision of the board will be final.
Accommodation
Hostel facility is provided for students in the SIPS hostels, for ladies and men seperately. Expenses for food should be met by the students themselves. Canteen facility is availble at the hostel premises.
Examination
Annual and supplementary examination wil be conducted by the Board of Examinations constituted for the purpose.
